Who we are
FEJEST-AFRIQUE was created with the deep conviction that education constitutes an essential lever for innovation, social progress and the empowerment of girls and young women. Our association works to awaken and strengthen their interest in science, technology and innovation, so that they can fully participate in building the world of tomorrow.
Aware of the challenges linked to female underrepresentation in STEM fields, FEJEST-AFRIQUE is committed to creating an inclusive, inspiring and accessible environment, where girls and younger generations can develop their potential, gain confidence and consider ambitious scientific and technological careers
Faced with the rapid evolution of technologies and the transformations of our society, our mission is to make these fields more attractive, motivating and welcoming, by particularly highlighting female leadership and equal opportunities in science and technology.

Our Actions
Educational programs: We develop educational tools, online courses and interactive workshops for students from primary to secondary school, in order to make learning science and technology attractive and relevant.
- Workshops and conferences: Our events are designed to allow young people to meet experts, discover the latest technological innovations and experiment with scientific concepts for themselves.
- Competitions and prizes: We regularly organize competitions and challenges in science and technology, to stimulate innovation among young people and reward their creativity and commitment.
Our Objectives
Educate: Offer adapted educational programs and resources to awaken scientific curiosity from an early age and strengthen skills in science and technology.
- Inspire: Organize events, workshops and conferences to generate interest in scientific and technological fields, by presenting concrete examples of their impact on the real world.
- Connect: Build bridges between students, teachers, researchers and professionals in the sector, to promote the exchange of knowledge, mentoring and orientation towards the jobs of tomorrow.
- Include: Fight against inequalities in access to scientific and technical education, by encouraging the participation of young people from communities underrepresented in these fields, as well as girls, who are still too often absent from STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) pathways.
